“Always On!” Presentation Skills
OWN the Room!
This session tackles both the verbal and non-verbal side of effective presentations. This “stand and deliver” training focuses on the fundamentals as well as getting participants up and speaking, providing live coaching and feedback as well as expertly evaluated video footage of participant presentations.
Every time we speak publicly, it is an audition. Whether it is fair or not, MUCH of how we are judged as leaders comes down to how effectively we can communicate. EVERY time we speak in front of an audience, our teams, our co-workers, or in a meeting, our competence, skill, and even likeability is being evaluated. We prepare our participants to be ALWAYS ON! in any speaking situation.
Who Should Attend?
The program is geared for anyone who does (or might eventually need to) speak in front of a group. Audiences have included Managers and Directors, High Potentials (Hi-Po’s) and Emerging Leaders, Onboarding Groups, Sales Professionals, Consultants, Customer Service Reps, Professional Speakers, Legal Departments and Colonels in the United States Army.
The ideal format is a two-day highly immersive session. We offer one and two-day sessions, as well as longer sessions tailored upon request. The advantage of the multiple-day format is far more “reps” on stage and hands-on time to improve quickly. Both have been very effective for a wide array of clients, but significantly more improvement is gained with a second day of delivery and coaching.
The target group size is 8-12 participants. Groups of 16-24 can be easily accommodated with a second room for break-out sessions. Arrangements can be made for larger groups upon request, but additional facilitators may be required to ensure adequate attention and coaching for all participants.
